Young Guns' program joins Twitter

The National Republican Congressional Committee’s “Young Guns” promotion debuted on Twitter early Wednesday with the account @YoungGunsGOP.

The program, which its founders say is meant to “identify, recruit and mobilize a new generation of conservative leaders,” draws attention to Republicans standing for Congress throughout the country.

On Twitter, it used its first blast to promote a trailer for its book, titled Young Guns: A New Generation of Conservative Leaders and co-authored by the group’s founders, Reps. Eric Cantor (R-Va.), Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and Paul Ryan (R-Wis.).
