It’s Official: Obama Submits Brackets Before Submitting A Budget

March 20, 2013

It should be shocking…but it isn’t.

President Obama, in an interview with ESPN, completed his brackets for the men’s and women’s NCAA tournaments. He apparently found the time to pick his Final Four, before he could squeeze in fulfilling his legal obligation to submit a budget to Congress on time.obama bracket 2013

To escape the blame here at home, he made sure news of his picks was held until after he was overseas.

Like we said before, it should be shocking, but it really isn’t. President Obama’s entire presidency is one of misplaced priorities.

  • When our country needed to grow the economy and create jobs, he sought a trillion-dollar government takeover of healthcare.
  • As the sequester hit, he cancels White House tours but keeps a team of three calligraphers on staff and gives $30,000 in raises to the head of the White House Visitors Office.
  • And now today, he couldn’t even find time to submit a budget before made his NCAA picks.

Americans deserve leaders that take our fiscal challenges seriously and propose responsible solutions.

Stand with us today and co-sign Paul Ryan’s budget. He seems to be one of the few people in this Washington who understands why a fiscal blueprint is more important than palling around with ESPN anchors.
