Jay Rockefeller, Architect Of Obamacare, Says Law Is “Beyond Comprehension”

April 10, 2013

Paul Bedard of the Washington Examiner is reporting this morning that Obamacare has found an unlikely adversary: one of the law’s own architects Jay Rockefeller.

At a Senate hearing, Rockefeller repeatedly criticized the law’s complexity saying it is “so complicated” and will only get worse over time.

“‘I believe that the Affordable Care Act is probably the most complex piece of legislation ever passed by the United States Congress. Tax reform obviously has been huge too, but up to this point it is just beyond comprehension,’ said Rockefeller.”

It seems that maybe, just maybe, liberals are seeing the light on a disastrous piece of legislation. You’ll recall that two weeks ago, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius admitted that Obamacare will raise insurance premiums for middle class families—breaking the promise numerous Democrats madeand some, like Jay Carney, continue to make.
