Nancy Pelosi wants the Speaker’s Gavel back and is in Illinois trying to make it happen
Nancy Pelosi will be in Illinois today to raise money for Brad Schneider and to let all Illinois families know that Schneider is her liberal protégé.
Unfortunately for Brad Schneider, an endorsement from Nancy Pelosi will go over like a lead balloon in Illinois’ 10th Congressional District.

On Tuesday, Pelosi will be the keynoter at a “Women for Brad” reception at the Hilton Northbrook for freshman Rep. Brad Schneider (D-Ill.), who is heading toward a 10th District rematch in 2014 with former Rep. Bob Dold, a Republican. The chief co-hosts are the four Democratic women in the Illinois delegation: Reps. Jan Schakowsky, Tammy Duckworth, Cheri Bustos and Robin Kelly.
In Congress Brad Schneider has worked hand-in-hand with his choice for Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. It’s going to be a brutal reality check for Schneider when he realizes that his dismal voting record in Washington along with an endorsement from Nancy Pelosi will not fly with the families of the 10th Congressional District.
