Another ObamaCare Broken Promise: “If You Like Your Doctor Or Healthcare Plan, You Can Keep It”

June 25, 2013

With President Obama’s announcement of new regulations that will raise energy costs and hurt job growth, it’s been a busy news day, but this story deserves attention too.

Remember back when President Obama said over and over again, during the “selling” of ObamaCare, that if you like your doctor or your healthcare plan, you can keep it?

The Associated Press is out today with a new report showing that will not be the case:

“Many people who buy their own health insurance could get surprises in the mail this fall: cancellation notices because their current policies aren’t up to the basic standards of President Barack Obama’s health care law.

‘They, and some small businesses, will have to find replacement plans — and that has some state insurance officials worried about consumer confusion.”

Oops.

The American people were sold a bag of goods four years ago in the run-up to the law’s passage. Time and again, ObamaCare is proving to be nothing more than a disastrous law filled with broken promises and more expensive healthcare.

It’s time to fight back,

Stand with the NRCC today. Republicans in Congress won’t rest until this law is finally repealed.
