Obama’s Approval Rating Deflation Continues

July 22, 2013

President Obama may be “pivoting” to the economy and jobs with the same old tired ideas yet again.

But, according to his latest abysmal approval ratings, it clearly doesn’t matter how many pivots the President makes – voters simply aren’t buying what he is selling.

The proof is in the polling, Mr. President.

Gallup reports this morning that Obama’s approval rating for the second quarter of 2013 has fallen to just 47.9% – that makes two-in-a-row quarterly drops since he was re-elected. The decline is steady and real.

That’s not surprising considering that, according to another recent poll, 55% of voters are unhappy with Obama’s handling of the economy.

It’s even worse for the President in states that, just months ago, voted him into a second term. His approval rating in Iowa has plunged this week to a shockingly low 41%. Another recent poll found Obama’s approval in Ohio has plummeted to an all-time low of 40%.

Everyday, more voters grow tired of Obama’s failed policies. When all he offers is more of the same, it’s no wonder his approval ratings are on the decline.
