IRS Union: We’ll Take “Dominant Role” In ObamaCare, But Don’t Want To Live Under It

July 26, 2013

Oh, this is rich.

Apparently members of the IRS’s union don’t mind being judge and jury, but would rather not have to worry about being affected by the coming “train wreck.”

As we all know, IRS employees will soon play a “dominant role” in ObamaCare. A bulk of their work will actually be determining who will or will not qualify for the law’s mandate.

According to the Washington Examiner however, union officials are distributing a letter to members urging lawmakers to vote against a bill that would force IRS employees to take part in ObamaCare’s exchanges.

IRS employees currently receive the same coverage that President Obama and other federal workers receive.

Apparently, they don’t mind throwing your healthcare to a government-run exchange, but don’t even think about doing the same to them.

The foibles of the IRS have been made very famous in the last few months. There was, of course, the scandal that saw agency officials targeting conservative political groups for their beliefs. But there was also controversies that included $50 million spent on conferences and another $70 million in bonuses for agency officials.
