ObamaCare Will Raise Insurance Premiums for Women Over 150%

October 23, 2013

It’s no surprise that ObamaCare is raising premiums for Americans of all ages. Higher taxes, less access to healthcare, and increased insurance costs are just some of the burdens the health care law is placing on everyday Americans.

But this week, an analysis of the law’s affect on premiums for young women was released – and the results ain’t pretty.

On average, a non-smoking 3o year old woman who buys health insurance through the marketplace will see her premiums increase 193%.

Yes, you read that right. 193%.

The states with the highest increases for women are Vermont, Nevada, Nebraska, Georgia and Kansas.

And there’s no sign of cost decreases or relief coming, either.

Seems that the Administration glazed over a crucial part of the Affordable Care Act – the “affordable” part.
