Watch HealthCare.Gov Tell Someone “Don’t Run With Scissors”

October 23, 2013

Just how frustrating can it be to use the online chat function at HealthCare.gov in order to get assistance with ObamaCare?

The House Republican Conference this morning released a video of an actual chat conversation with an online customer service representative at HealthCare.gov. The results weren’t pretty.

“Don’t lose your sanity over this website,” an online representative told a user trying to find insurance for himself and his family. “Try it. If it doesn’t work, walk away. Try it tomorrow.”

“What you sent me seems like a canned response,” the user replied. “It was,” the online representative confirmed.

At one point, clearly out of explanations for why the website wasn’t working and out of answers, the representative told the user “don’t run with scissors.”

This is how President Obama expects Americans to meet his mandate for health insurance?
