Bill Enyart is Running Away

November 27, 2013

Did you catch Bill Enyart’s re-election announcement yesterday? There seemed to be a key component of the 2014 campaign missing from his remarks.

Did anyone hear him mention ObamaCare? What about Nancy Pelosi? And no mention of Barack Obama? I wonder why that could be…

Oh, that’s right. Barack Obama’s approval ratings, at under 40%, are the lowest they’ve ever been. Nancy Pelosi is considered to be one of the most politically toxic leaders in Washington.

And let’s not forget the most toxic policy of all – ObamaCare.

Nancy Pelosi suggested last week that Democrats were ready to “stand tall” in support of ObamaCare. Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz recently mentioned that Democrats were ready and willing to campaign on the failing law in 2014.

In Enyart’s major re-election announcement yesterday, he couldn’t have ran faster away from the law, the President, and Pelosi. Illinois families deserve better.

As you cover Enyart’s announcement, please consider the following statement:

“It’s clear from Bill Enyart’s remarks that he is running scared from President Obama and ObamaCare’s failed policies. Southern Illinois families deserve better than a Representative who will run and hide from one of the biggest issues facing our nation. Enyart needs to own up to his support for ObamaCare and the burden its placed on Southern Illinois families.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Danielle Varallo
