Radio Buy Targets Rahall For Consistent Support Of ObamaCare and Canceled Plans For West Virginia Families

WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee launched a paid radio ad in West Virginia today, using Nick Rahall’s own words on ObamaCare against him.

Just like President Obama, Rahall promised that West Virginia voters could keep their current insurance, if they liked it. The ad highlights how Nick Rahall’s support for ObamaCare is resulting in higher premiums and canceled plans.

“It’s time Nick Rahall was held accountable for his broken promises about ObamaCare,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “West Virginia families won’t forget how he sold them a bill of goods.”

President Obama Apologized For His Misleading Healthcare Promise. “President Barack Obama offered an apology Thursday to those Americans who have been told they’re losing their health insurance plans, contrary to his promise that no one would be forced off a plan they wanted to keep.” (Jennifer Epstein, “President Obama: ‘I Am Sorry’,” Politico, 11/7/13)
