New NRCC TV Ad in FL-13 Explains Why Families Can’t Trust Alex Sink’s $400,000 “Record” as CFO

January 31, 2014

The latest NRCC TV ad on the air in FL-13 focuses on Alex Sink’s wasteful ways with taxpayers’ money as CFO of Florida. While Sink was CFO, she used a taxpayer-funded jet as her own, cruising around the state and using it to get to a vacation and even political events.

Her jet-setting ways cost hardworking Floridians over $400,000! Now Alex Sink wants to jet off to D.C. to be a Congresswoman, but Pinellas County families can’t afford her wasteful ways in Washington.

NRCC Statement: “Alex Sink’s record of wasting Florida taxpayers’ money as CFO is very troubling. If we can’t trust her to do the right thing here in Florida, how can we trust her in Washington with Nancy Pelosi?” – NRCC Spokeswoman Katie Prill

Narrator: Can we trust Alex Sink in Washington?

As Florida’s CFO, Sink spent four hundred thousand dollars of taxpayer money to jet around in a state-owned plane.

She used the taxpayer-funded plane so she could get to a vacation in the Bahamas.

And even used the plane to attend political campaign events.

Alex Sink: Taxpayer-funded jets for her, higher taxes for you.
