BREAKING: House Oversight Committee Votes To Hold Lois Lerner In Contempt Of Congress

Since the IRS scandal broke almost a year ago, House Republicans have vowed to get to the bottom of it. It’s simply unacceptable that the IRS would target Americans for their political beliefs.
Even worse, the Obama administration continues to stonewall the investigation at every turn. President Obama dismissed it as a “phony scandal.”
That’s why today the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee voted to hold Lois Lerner in contempt of Congress. Lerner has testified twice before the committee and has failed to cooperate.
