This Latest Story About What The EPA Did To Its Porn-Watching Employee Is Outrageous

May 7, 2014

Reports surfaced yesterday that a small unit of President Obama’s political staff, embedded within the EPA, has been routinely squashing independent investigations into the EPA’s activities.

A new story out today only confirms that’s the Environmental Protection Agency is not being held accountable for its actions.

The EPA confirmed on Wednesday that one of their employees who had previously been caught with more than 7,000 porn files on his government computer, and who watched the pornography for 2-6 hours per day while at work, had also been awarded a “performance bonus.”

“It’s just unbelievable,” Rep. John Mica said when questioning an EPA official.

So a government employee with a $120,000 salary is caught watching pornography for hours every day while at work, and then is rewarded with a bonus, funded by the taxpayers?!

No wonder President Obama’s political team is actively working to bury independent investigations into the EPA’s activities. It’s time to hold the White House and the Environmental Protection Agency accountable to the taxpayers.

From Washington Free Beacon:

The EPA confirmed Wednesday that one of their employees, who was rewarded with “performance awards” watched pornography while on the job, as previously reported by the Washington Free Beacon.

Rep. John Mica (R., Fla) questioned Allan Williams, the deputy assistant inspector general for investigations at the House Oversight Committee over the employees’ “work activities.”

“So this guy is making $120,000, spending two to six hours a day looking at porno. Then this information I have is he received performance awards during the time period?” Mica asked Williams.

Williams responded, “Uh, he possibly did. Yes, sir.”
