ObamaCare Can’t Even Keep Track of Its Own Data, & Losing Your Insurance Might Be The Price

July 2, 2014

In a report to Congress, inspector general for the Department of Health and Human Services, Daniel Levinson, said that the “exchange sites did not have adequate safeguards to prevent the use of inaccurate or fraudulent information.”

Furthermore, the inspector general stated that the “federal marketplace was unable to resolve about 2.6 million of the 2.9 million” data inconsistencies due to the faulty automated eligibility system.

On the heels of paying higher health premiums, taxpayers will have to resubmit their information and hope they are eligible for the same health insurance plan they originally enrolled in. Taxpayers deserve a Republican leader in Congress who will put the priorities of their constituents before the priorities of the Administration by repealing ObamaCare.

From Associated Press:

“The Obama administration is struggling to resolve widespread data discrepancies that could call into question coverage for millions under the health overhaul, the government’s health care fraud watchdog reported Tuesday.”
