Has New York Congressman Tim Bishop Moved to Fantasyland?

That is the question we should all be asking Tim Bishop because it seems like he is living in the center of the Magic Kingdom.

What other conclusion could you come to after seeing Bishop’s latest remarks on Obamacare. Bishop told 27East.com that:

“The evidence is mounting that the Affordable Care Act is actually working. More people than anticipated have signed up for it, and those who have enrolled are paying a fair price. The cost of actual delivery of health care is at its lowest mark in nearly 50 years.”

Let’s look more closely at that statement:

More people than anticipated have signed up for it: According to reports 74% of the people that signed up were already insured. Those that weren’t previously insured? Only 53% had paid their premiums.

Those who have enrolled are paying a fair price. The cost of actual delivery of health care is at its lowest mark in nearly 50 years: Actually, according to multiple reports here, here, and here, premiums may rise in New York and average of 13%. Oh, and Medicare has been cut $2190.41 (16.95%) per senior since Obamacare.

Then again, should we really be surprised by Bishop’s delusions at this point? After all, months after we first brought it to his attention, Bishop STILL has Obama’s Lie of the Year on his website.
