Medicare Cuts Funded The Disaster That Is ObamaCare

WASHINGTON – Today is the 49th anniversary of Medicare, but seniors will have a hard time celebrating in light of the massive cuts John Tierney and his Washington allies have made to this vital program in order to pay for ObamaCare.

In total,ObamaCare cuts more than $700 billion from Medicare and $156 billion from Medicare Advantage which hurts seniors in districts across the country. It is clear, John Tierney’s support of the President’s costly and flawed health care law will be the demise of his campaign this midterm election.

“John Tierney and his Democrat allies are waging a war on seniors,” said NRCC Communications Director Andrea Bozek. “Tierney’s support of ObamaCare over Medicare will force seniors to lose critical benefits, pay higher premiums and find new doctors.”
