The 7 Most Ridiculous Things Nick Rahall has said (recently)

August 7, 2014

Nick Rahall has been in Congress since Gerald Ford was roaming the White House so, knowing Tricky Nick like we do, we assume there are thousands of ridiculous things he’s said. But we’re just going to focus on 6 mind boggling statements made by Rahall since the 113th Congress began. Here we go:

7. “Is that a lump of coal? Oh, it’s an umbrella”

6. “I want to give the President the benefit of the doubt.”

5. Thinks Mitch McConnell runs the Senate.

4. Admits selling soul to Nancy Pelosi.

3. It’s in their “best interests” for West Virginians to have their plans cancelled.

2. Coal companies not hiring coal miners because the miners are on drugs. Maybe that’s why this happened:

1. “Obama was pro-coal.”
