Is this Multimillionaire Democrat Running for Congress Just to Make a Movie?

August 7, 2014

Could Aaron Woolf’s campaign-by-press release have had a worse week? First it is revealed that his small business which he touts on the campaign trail has been cited 83 times for health code violations – including mice, flies, and roaches in the kitchen (video).

Now, his Green Party opponent, Matt Funiciello, has leveled accusations that Woolf is only in the race because he wants to make a movie about running for Congress. Check out Funiciello’s audio here.

Funiciello expands upon his argument by claiming that he is the more legitimate alternative to Democrats than Woolf and that Woolf has no chance of beating Elise Stefanik. We agree on both points.

NRCC Comment: “If Aaron Woolf is running for Congress solely to make a film about the experience he should immediately drop out of the race. North Country families deserve better than a Manhattan multimillionaire that is looking to use his Congressional campaign to line his own pockets.”– NRCC Spokesman Ian Prior
