John Foust Continues His War on Women

August 26, 2014

John Foust is trying his best to take us back to the 60’s with his sexist rhetoric towards Barbara Comstock.

While Foust feels most comfortable demeaning working women by saying their jobs aren’t real work, we wonder how the thousands of working women – congressional aides, lobbyists, and other federal employees in the 10th District feel about Foust’s characterization that their employment isn’t real.

While we wait for Foust to gather his thoughts on his next sexist attack, we encourage him to read Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg. It can help get him up to speed on what a real working woman looks like in 2014.

NRCC Statement:“John Foust’s caveman approach to working women is not only offensive but also shows how out-of-touch with reality he is. While Foust wants to tell the female federal workers in the 10th District that their jobs aren’t ‘real’ we encourage Foust to read Lean In and familiarize himself with the 2014 working woman.”– Katie Prill, NRCC Spokeswoman
