Rural Hospitals Forced to Close Due to ObamaCare. Is Yours Next?!

September 5, 2014

According to an article from Reuters, rural hospitals are struggling to remain open as ObamaCare is forcing healthcare providers to “cut costs and release patients sooner.”

Rural hospitals are under increasing financial strain due to provisions of Obamacare that change how the federal government pays for the disadvantaged. Unfortunately, many of these hospitals do not have enough patients to remain open and are forced out of business – limiting access to health care.

As the midterm elections approach, taxpayers continue to learn of new consequences resulting from the Democrats’ failed healthcare policy. Taxpayers deserve a Republican leader in Congress who will increase access to healthcare by repealing ObamaCare.

Check out the interactive map from Reuters to see if a rural hospital in your state has been forced to shut down due to ObamaCare.

From Reuters:

“One in five hospitals, over 1,000 at least, will close by 2020, forecasted Ezekiel Emanuel, a White House health policy special advisor who helped shape the Affordable Care Act.”
