Gwen Graham is more Potomac than Gulf Coast

September 12, 2014

Gwen Graham has a huge issue. Her phony “outsider” campaign narrative has been blown up by the fact that it was found out that she was a D.C. lobbyist. Check out what the Sunshine State News had to say on it this morning:

“The only problem is, Graham reeks more of the Potomac than the Gulf Coast or Wakulla Springs. Southerland landed a meaningful punch this week in a new TV ad which paints Graham as a lobbyist for her work for the Andrews & Kurth law firm back in 1989 and 1990 when her father was sitting in the U.S. Senate. Graham insists she never did lobbying work despite her prominent father.” (Sunshine State News, 9/12/14)

Gwen is now saying she wasn’t ever a lobbyist but the government form filled out by her employer proves otherwise. Is this the only time in the history of mankind that a “non-lobbyist” is claiming to have over-disclosed on a federal government form as a lobbyist? Yeah – doesn’t pass the smell test.

NRCC Statement: “Gwen Graham can continue to lie about her past work as a D.C. lobbyist but voters are smarter than that and can clearly see she is being dishonest. Gwen spent a huge chunk of time working and hob-knobbing with fellow lobbyists in Washington and that’s frankly not the North Florida Way.” – Katie Prill, NRCC Spokeswoman
