NRCC Ad Highlighting Rahall’s Vote to Cut Medicare

September 23, 2014

Hey there,

I wanted to make sure that you saw the latest NRCC television ad in West Virginia’s 3rd district entitled “Medicare.” It highlights Nick Rahall’s dishonest campaign and his vote to cut Medicare, putting seniors at risk. It is airing in the Charleston-Huntington and Beckley-Bluefield broadcast markets and on cable.

Check it out here.

NRCC Comment: “Time and time again Nick Rahall’s television ads have been called out by independent fact checkers for what they are – flat out lies. Then again, given how Rahall has been so dishonest about his votes for a carbon tax, cap-and-trade, and to cut Medicare, it’s not surprising that Rahall would say or do anything to make it to his 40th year in Washington.”– NRCC Spokesman Ian Prior

Transcript:

ANNCR: Fact checkers call Nick Rahall’s ads misleading and shameful.

He’s trying to cover up his vote for Obamacare, cutting Medicare for West Virginia seniors.

FRED LANGILLE: They’re hurting me. They’re hurting my family. People can’t afford this.

Nick Rahall voted for Obamacare. Voting for Barack Obama 94% of the time is not representing West Virginians.

Nick Rahall is a disappointment. It’s time for him to come home.
