NRCC TV Ad Highlighting Woolf’s “Manual Labor” Comment

October 14, 2014

Hey there,

The NRCC is up with its third ad in NY-21 entitled “Worked.” The ad highlights Aaron Woolf’s comments in last week’s debate regarding Elise Stefanik’s work experience and compares them to Woolf’s legal and tax problems at his Brooklyn businesses. The ad is running over the next two weeks in the Albany broadcast market.

Check out the ad here.

NRCC Comment: “Aaron Woolf is just a fountain of hypocrisy. While his Brooklyn businesses are hit with tax warrants, employee lawsuits, and 83 health code violations, he has the nerve to attack Elise Stefanik for not having performed manual labor. Fortunately for Woolf, in about three weeks he is going to be able to move back to New York City and clean up the messes he has made at his businesses and, fortunately for North Country families, he won’t be going to Washington to make an even bigger mess there.”– NRCC Spokesman Ian Prior

Transcript:

ANNCR: For decades, Elise Stefanik’s family has run a local small business.

She grew up learning the value of hard work.

But Aaron Wolf, millionaire filmmaker from Brooklyn, questioned whether Elise Stefanik knows the meaning of hard work. That’s rich.

Aaron Woolf runs a boutique grocery store in Brooklyn that failed to pay taxes and had employees sue him for not paying overtime.

Aaron Woolf. Brooklyn’s Congressman, not ours.
