Chairman Walden’s Statement on the Drive to 245

WASHINGTON – National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden released the following statement on the Drive to 245 tonight:

“Tonight, from coast to coast, Republicans earned the trust of the American people with a message about getting things done and providing a check and balance in Washington. This wouldn’t have been possible without fantastic candidates who fit their districts and ran strong campaigns. In January, America will see a stronger and more diverse House majority.

“Two years ago on Election Night, President Obama stepped down from the stage in Chicago and vowed to do everything he could to once again control the House of Representatives. President Obama and Nancy Pelosi have failed and now Republicans have the strongest House majority in decades.”
