NRCC Highlights Democrat Infighting With “The Pelosi Games” Website, Poster, and Trading Cards

January 28, 2015

WASHINGTON– As a smaller group of House Democrats head to their annual retreat, the National Republican Congressional Committee today unveiled a new website highlighting “The Pelosi Games,” a contest between dueling Democrats fighting over the future of a broken party.

Seizing on recent reports from Politico and the National Journal of turmoil in the Democrat Caucus, the website www.ThePelosiGames.com borrows from pop culture to suggest a unique way for Democrats to figure out how to move forward – with a contest of political survival within their own disjointed ranks. Highlighting former DCCC Chairmen Steve Israel and Chris Van Hollen, as well as current DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján, The Pelosi Games should be a must see battle between vulnerable Democrats and the leaders that have seen the House Democrat ranks grow smaller under their watch thanks to their support of Pelosi’s agenda.

“After a disastrous four years in the wilderness of minority status, Democrats are questioning Pelosi’s leadership and turning on each other for control of a flailing party and its bankrupt policies,” said NRCC Communications Director Katie Martin Prill. “It’s clear House Democrats are in disarray after a brutal 2014 cycle, but will they continue to blindly follow Pelosi’s decision to move her party to the extreme left? A more liberal Democratic Party surely won’t sit well with working families who rejected Pelosi’s agenda this past November.”
