Is Trouble Brewing for Washington Democrats Looking to Hold On To Murphy Seat?

It’s been a rough day for Washington Democrats who think they have a chance of hanging on to Patrick Murphy’s House seat.

First, the Palm Beach Post reported earlier today that Democrats were “stunned” and “disappointed” that Democratic County Commissioner Priscilla Taylor is running for Murphy’s seat.  And then just a few hours later, Politico published a story about two top Democratic candidates taking a pass on running for the seat.

Of course, it should be no surprise that top Democratic recruits are saying “no thanks.”  Defending the failed policies of Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama in a district carried by Mitt Romney is no picnic.
