What Does Annette Taddeo Think of DCCC’s Gaming of the Electoral Process?

April 27, 2015

Jeffrey Garcia, the ex-chief of staff to former Rep. Joe Garcia, confessed to his latest electoral crime – this time for his role in illegally funding and distributing mailings supporting fake Tea Party candidate, Roly Arrojo, with the intent of siphoning votes away from Garcia’s Republican opponent, David Rivera.  It’s the same campaign where the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) employed a similar tactic.

So what does Annette Taddeo think of the tactics employed by Garcia and the DCCC?  Is this the 2013 version of Taddeo who publicly called for a “zero tolerance policy for gaming the electoral process,” stating that voters “deserve a fair, transparent electoral system that they can trust,” and that “anything less should be unacceptable regardless of party affiliation”?

Or is it the 2008 version of Taddeo who was pleading for the DCCC to support her candidacy?

It will be interesting to see if Taddeo cares more about receiving DCCC support than she does about her so-called zero tolerance policy for shady political tactics.

NRCC Comment:  “If Annette Taddeo believes in a zero tolerance policy for gaming the electoral process like she says, then she should refuse the support of the DCCC in her run for Congress.  If Taddeo doesn’t speak out against the DCCC, she’ll demonstrate that her latest run for office is more about her obsession with getting elected, and not about helping the people of South Florida.” –NRCC Spokesman Chris Pack
