If you’re a Democrat running for Congress in FL-13, you’ve probably realized that it’s starting to feel a lot like the Royal Rumble. That’s the wrestling match where a bunch of wrestlers battle it out to see who gets to go on to wrestle for the championship at WrestleMania. (See example here.)
Let’s take a look at the participants (thus far):
Eric “O-Boy” Lynn
O-Boy!
This is Eric “O-Boy” Lynn. Eric was the first entrant into the FL-13 Democrat Royal Rumble. He’s an ex-employee of the Obama Administration who isn’t afraid to defend the failed policies of Barack Obama. To recap: Eric likes Barack Obama and thinks he’s doing a good job. Enough said.

Mary “Alex Sink 2.0” Mulhern
Carpetbagger!
This is Mary “Alex Sink 2.0” Mulhern. Mary doesn’t even live in the district that she wants to represent. She says she’s going to sell her house and move into the district. As luck (or maybe it was fate?!) would have it, Mary was already looking to move. According to the Saint Peters Blog, Mary was complaining about how she never understood why her husband didn’t have a house on the water. Maybe she can get her dream house on the water now!? Eeek!

Darden “Flying the Coop” Rice
Flying the Coop!
According to a Google image search, this is Darden “Flying the Coop” Rice. Not much is known about Rice, probably because she’s served less than half of her term in the Saint Pete City Council before thinking of flying the coop to run for Congress. She is mysterious, but we really, really like the fact that that Tampa Tribune says she already earned the reputation “as one of the council’s more progressive members.”
Once one of these out-of-touch Democrats wins the FL-13 Royal Rumble, it’s on to the general election where they will walk directly into….

So fight it out in the FL-13 Royal Rumble, Democrats, because much like Hulkamania ran wild on Andre the Giant at WWF WrestleMania III…
