NRCC welcomes Anthony Weiner aide, opera singer to WI-07 race

If you haven’t heard, national Democrats have recruited opera singer and management consultant Kirk Bangstad to run in Wisconsin’s 7^th Congressional District.

Truly an inspiring performance, but, alas, we must get back to business.

Interestingly, Bangstad’s last political gig was writing talking points for disgraced New York politician Anthony “Carlos Danger” Weiner, which up until recently was proudly displayed on his LinkedIn profile.

Bangstad’s ties to Weiner makes us wonder: will the scandal plagued former Congressman be stumping for Bangstad throughout the 7^th District? We sure hope so.

Welcome to the race, Kirk. We aren’t sure about national Democrats, but we couldn’t be happier to have an Anthony Weiner associated, opera singing, management consultant running in this Midwestern district.
