Extreme Emily Cain’s Tall Tale

Remember back on June 23^rd when Extreme Emily Cain sent out a fundraising e-mail where she said how important her filing would be for this fundraising quarter?  She said “whether or not we hit our goal will really tell the tale of how our campaign has grown over the last four months.”  Unfortunately for Extreme Emily, that is a tale that will never be told.

According to Kennebec Journal/Morning Sentinel, Cain raised a measly $152,000 this fundraising quarter.  (By comparison, Bruce Poliquin raised $379,000, bringing his total to over $1 million, which is $700,00 more than Cain.)  So the moral in Extreme Emily’s tall tale?  She’s just too extreme for hardworking Maine families – and the numbers reflect that.
