DCCC lays a goose egg in NV-03

Unless you’re at the DCCC, that is. The wailing and gnashing of teeth you hear is coming from national Democrats after former Secretary of State Ross Miller announced last night that he will not run in the NV-03 open seat. The DCCC was heavily recruiting Miller, and his refusal to run is a brutal blow to Dem hopes of retaking the seat.

Democrats’ second choice, state Sen. Aaron Ford declined to run just a few weeks ago, leaving Miller as the only viable option. Now, Democrats are left with few, if any, options. NV-03 has long been the place where Democrat dreams go to die, and it is looking increasingly obvious that 2016 will be no different.
