Rick Nolan Votes to Weaken our National Security

October 1, 2015

Rick Nolan once again turned his back on American citizens and our men and women in uniform by voting against the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), weakening our national security instead of working to strengthen it during such a dangerous time.

At a time when the safety of American citizens has become so important to Minnesota families, Rick Nolan voted against the very bill that provides the resources our troops need to ensure our national defense and address numerous international threats around the globe. Minnesota families deserve a representative who will fight to keep them safe instead of someone who would rather play party politics than protect our national security.

“It’s deplorable that Rick Nolan would vote against providing for the needs of our military in a time of international crisis,” said NRCC Communications Director Katie Martin. “Our national security and the protection of American citizens is too important for Nolan to play political games while terrorists continue to threaten our country. Rick Nolan needs to put the safety and protection of Minnesotans ahead of his party’s insatiable hunger to dismantle our military.”
