BREAKING: Candidate with 59% disapproval rating endorses Ruben Kihuen

July 19, 2016

kihuen hillaryA recent poll of NV-04 voters shows Hillary Clinton to be deeply unpopular, sporting a 59% disapproval rating across all segments of voters. But this afternoon Ruben Kihuen gladly accepted Clinton’s endorsement at a rally in Las Vegas, inextricably linking the two career politicians for the remainder of the campaign.

Kihuen, like Clinton, is a political insider that has spent an entire career focusing more on his next job than the constituents he currently represents. Kihuen and Clinton’s blind partisanship is wrong for the 4th District, which is why both candidates are behind there. See the full polling memo here.

NRCC Comment: “Ruben Kihuen and Hillary Clinton are career politicians who are more concerned about their next election than what is best for 4th District families. While Kihuen and Clinton continue to champion their blind partisanship, Cresent Hardy will remain a hardworking, independent voice for his constituents in Washington.” – NRCC Spokesman Zach Hunter
