NRCC TV ad re-introduces Long Island voters to Taxin’ Tom Suozzi

September 29, 2016

Taxin’ Tom Suozzi raised taxes by hundreds of millions of dollars during his disastrous tenures as Nassau County Executive and as Mayor of Glen Cove. And just in case anyone has forgotten that, the National Republican Congressional Committee is out with a new TV ad this afternoon re-introducing Long Island voters to Taxin’ Tom Suozzi.

SCRIPT:

Suozzi:

“I raised property taxes my first year in office as county executive by a pretty big chunk.”

Announcer:

Big chunk.

Who could forget?

Not us.

Suozzi made sure of that.

He raised property taxes 19-percent his first year as County Executive.

Taking a big chunk out of family budgets.

He did the same as Mayor of Glen Cove, pushing a budget through that increased taxes 29-percent.

Suozzi:

“A pretty big chunk”

Announcer:

Taxing Tom Souzzi.

Taking big chunks out of our wallets for years.
