A new report from the Obama administration reveals that health care premiums across the country will increase by double-digit rates, even as insurers pull out of the marketplace, leaving 1-in-5 consumers with just a single choice in 2017.

This national trend confirms what consumers are seeing in Minnesota, where insurance premiums are rising by as much as 67% next year. This trend led Gov. Mark Dayton to declare that Obamacare was no longer affordable. But even as members of her own party admit that Obamacare is not working, Angie Craig remains a steadfast supporter, vowing to fight to expand the failed health care law if elected.

NRCC Comment: “Today’s report illustrates what Governor Mark Dayton warned – Obamacare is making health care unaffordable for Minnesotans – yet Angie Craig remains firmly in support of the failed law. Angie Craig’s promise to expand Obamacare, even as Minnesotans are facing skyrocketing costs, shows that her priorities lie with the D.C. liberal elite, not with Minnesota families.” – NRCC Spokesman Bob Salera
