Get off my lawn!

February 24, 2017

From the Antelope Valley Press: “…Picketers organized by Democratic Party and union leaders carried signs down a Lancaster [California] street… but ended up standing on the front lawn and porch of the wrong house. The protestors were aiming for the home of Rep. Steve Knight, one that Knight and his wife had moved out of months earlier. Neighbors and sheriff’s deputies told the protestors they were in the wrong neighborhood, but the protest went ahead anyway… People stood on the home’s driveway and at the front entryway for about 15 minutes before sheriff’s deputies said the crowd had to get off private property and out of the street, which they were blocking.”

Are they apologizing? Hell no! Organizer (and aide to California Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon, D-Paramount) Darren Parker told the Antelope Valley Press: “I don’t see that this was an embarrassment.”

Rep. Knight responded: “Why are people harassing folks who are not in Congress?” Great question!
