Self-proclaimed "moderate" Blue Dog Democrats have become an endangered species after their constituents discovered their true colors. In the 2010 cycle, Republicans defeated 28 Blue Dogs, dwindling their coalition from 54 down to a mere 26 lap dogs. Now, seeing the writing on the wall, these 26 supposed moderates are in hiding, fearful of being found and held accountable for their partisan job-destroying records.

 

If you think there's an error in your map because you don't see any Blue Dog sightings, it isn't a technical problem. We have yet to see a true Blue Dog have the courage to stand up in front of their constituents and defend their job-destroying agenda that has made a bad economy worse.
