What is the Business Leadership Trust

The Business Leadership Trust is the highest and most distinguished NRCC donor program. Members of this program enjoy the benefits of all NRCC donor programs including the Speaker’s Trust and the Congressional Leadership Council. Business Leadership Trust members have the opportunity to attend events featuring Republican Congressional Members and Party Leadership at least four times a year as well as regional meetings across the country.

Why support the Business Leadership Trust?

The NRCC is working tirelessly to ensure that we have enough resources to protect our targeted incumbents and that we continue to fund the best candidates to defeat Democrats across the country. The funds raised through the NRCC will pay for media buys, grassroots organization, and candidate training and campaign materials. Contributions made by Business Leadership Trust members represent the maximum support and provide the financial backbone with which to finance our efforts to maintain the Majority. Just one Business Leadership Trust membership ($61,600) will fund:

• Two weeks of television in Ohio at 1,000 grps (gross rating points) which would allow the average person to see a television advertisement at least 10 times during the week
• Over  500 weeks of radio averaging 12 radio spots per week in Tennessee
• Over 120,000 mailings to educate voters on the Republican candidates in their district
  

Information circulated via TV, radio and mail can change a race. Business Leadership Trust members serve as a driving force behind this change.

How does a Business Leadership Trust membership benefit you?

In addition to making helping the NRCC maintain the majority and support a pro-business agenda, your contribution entitles you to the following benefits (subject to change):

• Membership in the Business Leadership Trust program

• One VIP table (8 seats) with preferential seating to the NRCC's March Dinner on March 20, 2012 - (each table includes 8 tickets to the VIP reception).

• Invitation to Regional NRCC Meetings:

• Winter Meeting in Naples, Florida - February 18-20, 2012
• Summer Meeting in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania – July 2012
• Bright Lights and Broadway in New York City – December 2012
  *Please note that the NRCC does not cover cost of rooms, as members of the Business Leadership Trust are responsible for these costs.
  

• Quarterly NRCC conference calls and issue briefings with Republican Party Leaders.

• Invitations to Regional Events around the country.

• Updates from the NRCC—developments on the legislative and political fronts.

• NRCC Congressional Directory—guide to the 112th Congress.

Financial Commitment

Membership in the Business Leadership Trust is an annual contribution of $61,600.
($30,800  from member and $30,800 from spouse or colleague)

Married Couples can contribute up to $61,600 per calendar year

Personal contributions to any of the national party committees are limited by law to $30,800 from an individual per calendar year.
