Statement from NRCC Chairman Sessions on the Passing of Jack Kemp

Washington- National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Chairman Pete Sessions released the following statement today on the passing of Jack Kemp:

"As a soldier in the Reagan Revolution, Jack Kemp fought for conservative principles and put forward ideas and solutions that continue to frame the national debate.

"Whether he was representing his constituents in upstate New York or standing up for low-income families as HUD Secretary, he took on tough challenges and taught our party about the economic principles and entrepreneurial spirit that make us strong.

"America has lost a devoted public servant and our party has lost one of its most important voices.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with Joanne and the Kemp family during this time."
