WASHINGTON – NRCC Chairman Tom Emmer released the following statement regarding the results of the WA-03 primary election:

“Congratulations to Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler on advancing to the general election. Carolyn Long is a radical, perennial candidate who promises to raise taxes and strip Washington families of their employer-provided health insurance in favor of a government-run plan. I’m confident Washington voters will reject Long’s socialist leanings for a second time, and I look forward to continuing to work with Jaime in Congress.”
