Tarryl Clark believes that middle-class families should fund another round of stimulus spending

January 9, 2009

 Good Afternoon,

Instead of coming forward with new ideas to turn around Minnesota’s economy, Tarryl Clark believes that middle-class families should fund another round of stimulus spending, even after the first failed to keep unemployment below 8 percent as promised.

Of course Tarryl wouldn’t admit that her new spending plan would be paid for by raising taxes on job creators and Minnesota families.

 “At today’s event, Clark repeatedly declined to endorse a way to pay for the measure. ‘They need to look at a variety of tools,’ Clark said.” (St. Cloud Times, 10/5/2011)

Please consider the following comment from the NRCC as you cover Clark’s support for stimulus 2.0 and you ask her to come clean with her support for job-destroying tax increases.

NRCC COMMENT: “Despite all the failed promises, wasteful spending and record high unemployment, Tarryl Clark is still insisting on more job-crushing tax hikes and spending plans. Minnesota middle-class families can’t afford see Tarryl Clark in Washington.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Andrea Bozek
