Jindal to Headline NRCC Dinner

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R) will headline the National Republican Congressional Committee’s annual dinner this year.

One of the biggest fundraising events of the year for House Republicans, NRCC Chairman Pete Sessions (Texas) announced Jindal’s appearance in a message to donors Friday. Jindal served in the House for less than three years before running for governor in 2008.

“Bobby is a rising star and is a part of a new generation of leadership in our Party,” Sessions wrote. “He has a budding record of success, having implemented sound, common sense business practices since he took office in 2007 and started rebuilding his great state.”…
