Video of Pelosi in ’06: “I’m a Fan of Disruptors”

Flash Forward: Pelosi-Hoyer Villify Town Hall Attendees as “Un-American,” Clyburn Calls Them Racists

Washington- As Democrats continue to run from their constituents during the August recess, Nancy Pelosi and other Democrat leaders have decided to up the hypocrisy ante by waging war on constituents who have the audacity to speak out against her party’s government healthcare takeover. This week, Pelosi and Majority Leader Steny Hoyer called concerned constituents “un-American,” in a USA Today op-ed while Majority Whip James Clyburn compared them to white supremacists in the Huffington Post. But just recently, video turned up of then-Minority Leader Pelosi praising protestors at an event in 2006, telling them their advocacy is “very American and very important” while declaring she is a “fan of disruptors.”

“It’s convenient that concerned citizens are only deemed un-American racists when they disagree with Nancy Pelosi,” said NRCC Communications Director Ken Spain. “Pelosi’s radical hypocrisy has reached the point of absurdity as she resorts to vilifying a majority of Americans in an attempt to salvage a failing agenda. Pelosi and her Democrat friends are going to battle against their constituents and their own credibility, and they are clearly losing.”

As Democrats continue to ratchet up the hypocrisy, Americans are looking for real solutions to the country’s problems. Unfortunately, they won’t get them anytime soon as long as the many faces of Nancy Pelosi are running the show in Washington.
