Arkansas Democrat’s Plan Will Force Medicare Into Bankruptcy, Prompting Massive Cuts
Washington — The NRCC today announced a series of targeted calls highlighting Mike Ross’ plan for Medicare which would “decimate” the program for seniors relying on benefits. Ross’ Democrat plan would force Medicare into bankruptcy, where Arkansas seniors could see their benefits slashed by 17 percent or more. Ross’ Arkansas constituents will surely find the disastrous consequences of his plan for Medicare unacceptable.
“Mike Ross needs to own up to the fact that his Democrat plan is the one that will drastically slash benefits for Arkansas seniors and decimate Medicare,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “Ross and his fellow Democrats are forcing Medicare into bankruptcy, triggering devastating benefit cuts to the seniors that depend on them most or massive payroll tax increases on every working American.”
