New NRCC TV Ad: What’s ‘Best’ for McIntyre & Obama Hurts Southeastern North Carolina

In Defending Obama’s Agenda, McIntyre’s Voting Record is Not What’s Best for His North Carolina Constituents

WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee announced a new ad highlighting Mike McIntyre’s record of more taxes, more spending and more government in Washington. Regardless of what McIntyre says about making North Carolina families his number one priority, he has proven that he has had no intention of doing what is best for them.

“There is a difference between what Mike McIntyre says in North Carolina and how he votes in Washington,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “If McIntyre thinks his vote for President Obama’s trillion dollar stimulus bill that sent jobs overseas is ‘best for southeastern North Carolina,’ then it’s best for him to explain that to voters who he continues to mislead on a daily basis.”

The script for this ad is as follows:

ANNOUNCER: Mike McIntyre in his own words:

MCINTYRE: My only concern is what’s best for southeastern North Carolina.

ANNOUNCER: But McIntyre voted for Obama’s failed stimulus that allowed billions of taxpayer dollars to go to foreign companies and created jobs in China.

And McIntyre voted for higher taxes on social security, small businesses, middle class families, even marriage.

More taxes, more spending, more jobs overseas.

Is that what’s best for us?
