New NRCC TV Ad: McDowell Believes Seniors Cost Too Much at “the End of Life”

Michigan Dem Supports Slashing Medicare to Pay for ObamaCare

WASHINGTON – The National Republican Congressional Committee released an ad to expose the truth behind Gary McDowell’s agenda to gut Medicare to fund ObamaCare. McDowell dismisses seniors as costing too much at “the end of life” in favor of his party’s healthcare takeover.

“Our seniors deserve the Medicare they’ve paid into for their entire working lives but Gary McDowell wants to take that away from them,” said NRCC Communications Director Paul Lindsay. “It’s troubling that Gary McDowell would sacrifice seniors’ access to care to pay for his party’s big-government takeover of healthcare.”

The script for this ad is as follows:

ANNOUNCER: Listen to politician Gary McDowell tell us how seniors cost too much at “the end of life.”

MCDOWELL:  “We’re not going to be able to provide for all the other things we need to do first as a society because we are taking so much money for health care at the end of life.”

ANNOUNCER: McDowell says seniors cost too much at “the end of life.”
