VIDEO new NRCC ad – Nick Rahall has changed

September 10, 2012

Nick Rahall has changed.  That’s the message West Virginia voters are seeing on TV courtesy of a new ad from the NRCC.

The ad shows that after 36 years in Washington Rahall has changed and it time for West Virginians to change their congressman.

As you cover the NRCC holding Rahall accountable for putting Washington before West Virginia, consider the following quote:

NRCC Comment: “From defending the EPA when it delayed mining permits to voting for Obama’s agenda 94% of the time, it’s clear Nick Rahall puts Washington before West Virginia.  After 36 years in Washington Rahall has changed, and it’s time for voters to bring him home.”  – NRCC spokesman Nat Sillin

The script for the ad is as follows:

ANNOUNCER: What happened to Nick Rahall?

Maybe he was so ambitious to make friends in Washington that he forgot what’s important to West Virginia.

Like when he defended Obama’s EPA for delaying mining permits.

Allowed billions to go to foreign companies and outsourced jobs.

And Rahall even voted for Obama’s agenda ninety-four percent of the time.

 Nick Rahall has changed.

Maybe it’s time for us to make a change.
