remember when…
Remember when Rocky came out? The year was 1976 and Rick Nolan was a Member of Congress.
Now jump forward. Remember when Rocky Balboa came out 30 years later? #NotTheBestIdea
It’s been over 30 years since former Congressman Rick Nolan was in office and just like Rocky Balboa; Nolan’s run for Congress is like a bad sequel.
Case and point – today’s debate. Minnesota families wanted some answers from Congressman Nolan on why he expects giant pay raises every year if sent to Congress even though he doesn’t want to do the work. Minnesota families also want to know why he won’t support jobs at Polymet and Minnesotans’ 2nd Amendment rights. Those weren’t Minnesota values 30 years ago, and they aren’t Minnesota values now.
As you cover Rick Nolan’s out-of-touch ways and his insultingly vague answers at this morning’s debate, please consider the following statement:
NRCC Statement: “Former Congressman Rick Nolan wants Minnesota families to send him back to Congress so he can continue the same failed policies he pushed under the Carter Administration. If sent to Washington, Congressman Nolan will continue to vote against jobs at Polymet and vote against Minnesotans’ 2nd Amendment rights.” – NRCC Spokeswoman Katie Prill
