Romanoff “Hobnobbing” in D.C.

January 22, 2013

For a professional politician who last week said “he didn’t intend to start the drumbeat of [congressional] speculation with a story in a national publication,” Andrew Romanoff sure had a busy weekend in Washington, D.C.

According to Roll Call, Romanoff was “hobnobbing with the party elite and donors at inaugural festivities” with his friends at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

To make things more interesting, Romanoff brutally attacked fellow Democrat Senator Michael Bennet for his ties to Washington special interests in the 2010 Senate primary.

Please consider the following comment from the NRCC as you cover Romanoff’s luxurious trip to Washington, D.C.

“Andrew Romanoff hasn’t announced his candidacy yet and he’s already broken his vow to fight Washington special interests. Romanoff is far more interested in advancing his political career than representing Colorado working families in Congress.”
